Ever wonder why, despite decades of progress, unequal pay remains a haunting presence in our corporate world? Despite efforts such as the Equal Pay Act of 1963, aimed at eliminating pay discrimination based on sex, this gap persists. Let's explore this critical issue together, shedding light on its enduring impact on individuals and society.
This project aims to bridge the gap by raising awareness and fostering constructive dialogue about the Gender Pay Gap. Through an indirect approach, I seek to engage the target audience and urge them to take action.
Mind the Gap
VISUAL IDENTITY | PACKAGING DESIGN
*
The aim was to reach the target audience through an indirect approach and communicate to them the unfair wage gap that is still prominent in the American workplace.
To do this, I chose beer can and glasses as a form of indirect marketing to raise an uncomfortable question and encourage both men and women to take a closer look to the problem at hand (quite literally)
For the campaign's visual identity, I aimed to craft a logo that piques curiosity and effectively communicates the problem at hand. The logo serves as a subtle yet compelling invitation for consumers to explore further. It hints at the gap in a thought-provoking way, urging them to delve deeper into the issue.
